In an editorial for the Pittsburgh Business Times’ “Voices of Pitt,” Assistant Professor Konstantinos (Kostas) Pelechrinis outlines the challenges and potentials of integrating innovative new technologies into the cities of the future.

Pelechrinis’ research interests include “network science, location based social networks, urban informatics, wireless network systems (e.g., 802.11, 3G, wireless home networks, multihomed wireless devices), and wireless networks security: Jamming detection/prevention and trust establishment” and he is particularly interested in the design and implementation of practical systems, based on analytical frameworks.
