Certificate of Advanced Study
The immersive 15-credit certificate program in Big Data Analytics is designed to meet the needs of professionals with a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Science degree in Information Science or a related field in order to quickly learn to understand the systems underpinning Big Data.
The five course curriculum ensures students will gain a solid understanding of the foundations of Big Data analysis or management (three core courses) while two elective courses offer flexibility and the ability to finish the program in one year.
Three core courses, Data Mining, Algorithm Design, and Advanced Topics in Database Management are available in Spring 2015.
